Karim has already made his mark in other projects. Viewers may remember his role as Kris Greene in Peacock’s hit drama One of Us Is Lying. Now, he’s aiming for the stars, stepping into a franchise that has inspired generations.
In Star Trek: Starfleet Academy, audiences will follow a new class of cadets as they train for interstellar exploration, navigate diplomatic challenges, and face the occasional galactic crisis. The series blends the timeless Star Trek ideals of hope, unity, and curiosity with fresh faces and bold new adventures. For Karim, this role isn’t just another credit — it’s a chance to contribute to a legacy nearly six decades in the making.
The latest buzz also thrilled long-time fans by confirming a long-awaited piece of Trek canon: Harry Kim, the beloved Voyager character, now holds the rank of admiral.
