With over 25 years of experience, The Heller Approach is more than an acting school — it’s a legacy in the Hollywood entertainment industry. Founded by Brad Heller, our studio has guided actors from first auditions to successful careers on the big screen, using techniques that get results.
Our method is grounded in the non-Method philosophy of legendary coach Don Richardson, further shaped by insights from Seth Winston, Eda Gorbis, and Kirk Woller. The Heller Approach gives actors a practical, emotion-free framework that allows for quick character access and sustainable performance under pressure.
Brad Heller brings decades of experience as an actor, director, and top Hollywood acting coach. His real-world experience and deep industry connections make every class a masterclass in preparing for the demands of today’s entertainment world.
We believe in personal attention. Our acting classes are kept small to ensure each student receives individual guidance and real-time feedback. Whether you’re new to acting or looking to sharpen your skills, you’ll thrive in a supportive, focused environment.
Ashley Moore, actress and model, joined The Heller Approach Acting Studio in 2018. The skills Ashley obtained in our renowned acting school helped her cross the bridge and move from being a supporting to a leading role actress. Thus, before Ashley took acting classes in Los Angeles with Brad Heller, the founder of The Heller Approach, she appeared as a supporting cast in ‘Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping’, a mockumentary musical comedy film (2016), “Alone Together” sitcom TV series (2018), and a few more. After training with Brad, Ashley booked and became known for her leading roles in the Amazon Prime exclusive drama horror series ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’ (2021) and in the comedy ‘Tripped Up’ (2023). In addition to Ashley’s acting talents, she is a signed model represented by Nous Model Management. She has modeled for world-known brands like Prada, Victoria’s Secret, Marc Jacobs, Hugo, etc., and featured in magazines like GQ, Oyster, and Seventeen.
